Having the dating blues?
1. Remind yourself of the big picture! This is crucial especially if the date or person you were dating are no longer continuing to do so. Everyone cannot be a good life partner for you! You are dating to meet someone who is just right for you and only you. Be happy that you have this choice.
2. Beware of the thoughts that come up about dating. If you feel down all of the sudden, stop and think of more empowering thoughts immediately. The longer you wait, the more time it will take to break out of the habit.
3. Create a plan of action. When you feel like you are down in the dumps about dating know what helps you get out of it. Write a go-to-list of things you know you love doing and that brings a smile to your face.
Just because you have dated a few duds doesn’t mean you will NEVER find the right one for you. In science, the validity of studies are only seriously looked at with trials in the 1000’s. Is it really logical to base that kind of assumption when you only dated how many?
It is crucial to keep as many uplifting feelings in your experience during this time. People are attracted to others who love and enjoy their life. So get out there and enjoy your life to the fullest, as you never know who may be just waiting around the corner.
